  • Boys Titan Volleyball Camp

    Boys' volleyball is growing across the country and an official season for boys' volleyball is in the works throughout Michigan! Join our Titan coaching staff and current volleyball athletes in learning the fundamental skills necessary to play competitive volleyball. We will go over passing, setting, hitting, serving, as well as basic court rules and rotation. Athletes must be prepared and bring their own water bottle and athletic shoes/knee pads. A T-shirt will be provided for campers at check in.

    This 3-day camp will focus on basketball fundamentals and skills that every player needs in order to improve their game. Players will learn how to improve their basketball IQ, shooting form, ball-handling skills, defensive footwork and stance. We will teach both offensive and defensive skills for the appropriate age group. This camp will be both competitive and fun! T-shirt is included with price.

  • Eisenhower Volleyball Camp

    For Girls Entering Grades 3-9 Learn volleyball skills and agility to help improve your game! This camp will teach the basics necessary to become a successful volleyball player and advanced skills to make you a key athlete. Daily lectures, demonstrations and drill sessions, designed to teach the skills and techniques of competitive volleyball, will be taught. Players are divided according to skill level in order to assist the athlete in developing their full potential through challenging, competitive settings. This camp is under the guidance of an exceptional teaching staff: Caitlin LaPratt, IKE Head Varsity Coach and UCS volleyball players. Camp t-shirt is included (ordered in adult sizes). Equipment: Bring your own knee pads and bottled water.

    Camp Camp Description Varsity and JV Football: (Grades 10-12) Freshman Football: (Grade 9) Male Athletic: (Grades 9-12) Female Athletic: (Grades 9-12) HF II Cheer: (Grades 9-12) All sessions taught and coached by a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Our mission is to provide intense strength and conditioning instruction to our athletes to help improve strength, speed, agility and endurance that will be helpful for the athletes upcoming sport seasons. The camp focus is INJURY PREVENTION training to help reduce future sports related injuries such as shoulder, knee, ankle injuries and concussions. HF II Powerlifting: (Grades 9-12) All sessions are taught and coached by a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and Powerlifting Staff at HFII. Our mission is to forge new and existing powerlifters into strong, technically sound, and consistently competitive lifters. Over the course of the program, we will teach and practice the "Big 3 Lifts": Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Alongside the Big 3, we will use accessory movements, variable lifts, conditioning, and the FITT Principles to push the athletes past their limits to achieve success, both personal and for the team. Our Falcon Warriors are strong, skilled, conditioned, and hungry to compete! Junior Falcons: (Grades 6-8) Strength and Conditioning All sessions taught and coached by Henry Ford II Strength & Conditioning Staff. Our mission is to provide safe and effective strength and conditioning instruction to all incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade athletes. This will help develop and/or improve their strength, speed, agility, balance, flexibility, fitness, and knowledge of the bodily function. Whether it is for fun, fitness, or sport, these boys and girls will be ready for anything life, fun, or competition sends their way! *All camps will meet at the Henry Ford ll high school weight room, door #13A. . No training 6/30-7/6. Attire: Hard soled, close-toed shoes are required. Shoes that can be used for both weight lifting and aerobic conditioning are recommended. One pair of shoes for each condition would be best, although not required.

    CALLING ALL FUTURE TITANS... Come be part of an AWESOME summer football camp hosted by the Stevenson Football staff and assisted by former and current Stevenson football players. A low camper to instructor ratio will be provided. CAMP GOALS: To teach the fundamentals of passing, catching, routes, footwork drills, and tackling techniques. WHAT TO BRING: Each camper should come fully prepared to participate with the appropriate shoes. In the case of rain, camp will be run indoors.     CAMP DESCRIPTION TIME Scratch This course will introduce students to the exciting world of video game development using Scratch, a block-based visual programming language developed by MIT. This interactive and hands-on course will guide students through the basic principles of game design, storytelling, animation, and interactivity. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in game design and will be capable of creating their own interactive video games. 9:00 am -12:00 pm Video Game Development Learn the frontend and backend of mobile game and app development! Students create games in Blockly with the MIT App Inventor and gain an understanding of game design. Concorde Education instructors guide students as they create simple games like Mole Mash, Galaga, and build up to more challenging and original games.     This camp will provide intensive teaching sessions that will develop basic football skills for lower grade level players, with an emphasis on fundamentals, safety, and general understanding of the game of football. Higher level players will be involved in season preparation, while obtaining a jump start on the Utica offense, defense, and special teams. Detailed technique and skills will be emphasized, with each session being mapped out to get the most out of our limited time. Bring your own water bottle.
