Babysitting 101

For those going into 6th to 8th Grades

• 3 Day free in person course
• Be prepared and equipped to babysit infants and young children
• Hands on course will teach:
  • Behavior Management
  • Age-appropriate activities
  • First Aid & CPR Safety Protocols
  • Bedtime Routines
  • Child care
  • Promoting yourself

Upon Successful Completion each student will receive:

• Babysitter Certificate 
• Emergency Information Form
• First Aid Kit
• Make and Take Crafts

Camp Location:

Bemis Junior High (12500 19 Mile Road, Sterling Heights,)

Camp Dates & Times:

Each session limited to 20 participants

• Session A: June 30 - July 2, 2025
• Session B: July 14-16, 2025
• Session C: July 21-23, 2025

Will transportation be provided?

Yes, information will be provided in an email prior to the start of the summer session.

What time is the class?

8:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Free breakfast is provided

8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Babysitting 101

11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Free lunch is provided
