SACC is a multi-age program for students in Kindergarten through sixth grade. All UCS child care programs are licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. We offer: Before and After School Child Care Break Camps Summer Camp - Registration begins at 7:00 am April 10, 2025 for current families April 17, 2025 for UCS in-district families May 1, 2025 for out-of-district families Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year - Please read all the information below before registering. Registration will open on Tuesday, July 16th at 7:00am. How to register for the SACC sites available for AM and PM Care. For AM Care (if available) you will select and register at your child's school. For PM Care, you will select and register for the location that your child will be attending SACC, which may not be their school location. For example: Graebner students needing PM care would register at Havel PM SACC. Non-Refundable Registration Fee $60 per child / $75 per family Absences will be charged at the regular rate for sessions a child is scheduled to attend. Student’s schedule for the entire school year is required during registration. Once the schedule is submitted and approved, the account owner is accepting responsibility for payment of scheduled days. Schedule change requests will only be accepted during designated weeks. Tuition payments are billed and charged the Friday prior to care. Utica Community Schools offers a variety of early childhood programs for young children and their families. Click on a link below to learn more about each program. Traditional 3 and 4 Year Old Preschool Early Childhood Montessori Full Day Preschool Infant and Toddler Early Learning and Care GSRP/PreK for All To begin the registration process, you must create an account in Eleyo if you have not done so already. Once you have created an account, or logged into your existing Eleyo account, you will be able to select a preschool program from the choices below. Follow the prompts to select the location and course section. You must complete all sections of the registration contract request and enter your method of payment. Your account will not be charged until your contract request is approved. Please have the following information ready while completing the registration request: Name of your child's home school Your first and second choice of class (classes can be found in our Early Childhood brochure) Method of payment (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express) All applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Space is available at each school on a first come, first serve basis. Registrations will be accepted until classes are full. If your requested class is full, you will be placed in your second choice and remain on a waitlist for your first choice. Your contract status for that class will show as pending, indicating your child is on the waitlist. Once you have completed the registration process, all contracts must be approved by our office. Placement is not guaranteed until you receive the email confirmation. Please note preschool start and end dates are estimated. February 5, 2025 Early Childhood Open House 7:00-8:30pm February 11 - March 2, 2025 Online registration opens at 7:00 AM for siblings of currently enrolled families in Traditional Preschool, Montessori, Infant/Toddler, and Full-Day Preschool programs. Registration will close March 2nd at 4:00pm. A registration link will be sent directly to your email. March 4 - April 6, 2025 Online registration process begins at 7:00am for new in-district Early Childhood families. Registration will close April 6th at 4:00pm. April 8, 2025 Online registration process begins at 7:00am for new out-of-district Early Childhood families.

The mission of Velocity Jr. is to provide relevant, hands on learning experiences in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M) to Preschool - sixth grade students of Utica Community Schools. Velocity Jr. instills 21st century skills derived from innovative, hands on curriculum through the utilization of differentiated learning modalities, while providing a stimulating, engaging, and collaborative community. Refund Policy Unless otherwise indicated, refunds will be the amounts of tuition less a $5.00 processing fee. Refunds will be granted if cancellations are requested 7 days prior to the start of classes minus the $5.00 processing fee. Material, book, and disk fees will not be refunded. REFUND POLICY: Please contact the Community Education office regarding all class concerns or refund requests. A full refund is guaranteed only if UCS cancels a class. Unless otherwise indicated, refunds will be the amount of tuition minus a $5.00 processing fee. Refunds will be granted only if cancellations are requested seven days prior to the exact start date of class, minus the $5.00 processing fee. If a refund is requested less than seven days prior to the exact start date of the class, you will receive a credit voucher to your account minus the $5.00 processing fee that will need to be used for another class offered by Community Education by June 30th of the current year. Supplies, trophies, T- shirts, etc. will not be refunded. If a class is cancelled, a full refund will be issued back to the original form of payment. No refunds will be paid in cash. No refunds will be given once classes/camps begin. Classes/camps will not be pro-rated if participant is unable to attend class for any circumstance. There are no refunds or make up dates for cancelled sessions due to inclement weather or building closures. All returned checks are subject to a $25 processing fee. NOTIFICATION OF CLASSES: In the event of cancellation or change to the class/camp you or your child are enrolled in you will be notified by an email, phone, or text using the email and phone number listed in your Eleyo account. Please check the location and date of your selected class prior to the start date. If the school is closed for any reason, classes will not be held. There will be no make-up dates or refunds for classes cancelled due to inclement weather or building closure. There will be no make-up classes or refunds for classes if participants are unable to attend.
