Who should enroll in this course? Advanced Math 100 students who received communication from their school stating the student will be enrolled in Algebra I in the Fall of 2024. Advanced Math 100 students who received communication from their school stating the student may be enrolled in Algebra I in the Fall of 2024. Students will be required to take a final exam to determine math placement. Advanced Math 7 students wanting to review content and prepare for Algebra I in the Fall of 2024. Math 7 students with a desire to advance in their mathematics pathway to Algebra I in the Fall of 2024 Students will be required to take a final exam to determine math placement. Is there an absence policy for this course? Yes, the summer session attendance policy does not provide for more than three (3) absences. There are no exceptions to this policy. For students entering the MST or UAIS program the Fall of 2024 and have completed Algebra I Semester 1 What is Summer Bridge to Junior High Algebra I Semester 2? The in-person option is a teacher-led, classroom-based instruction for summer school. This Credit Forward course is being offered to students currently in grade 8 entering MST or UAIS in the Fall of 2024. A score of 60% or higher will be required in order for the student to receive credit for the course. The grade earned may be posted on the course history, be factored in calculating GPA and become part of the student’s official transcript. Be sure to meet with your counselor prior to signing up for summer school. Who would benefit from this program? Any incoming MST or UAIS student who will need to complete Algebra I semester 2 prior to start of the 2024-2025 school year. Is there an absence policy for this course?
