Digital Animation This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of digital animation. The primary goal is to empower students with the foundational skills necessary to create simple animations, fostering creativity, storytelling skills, and technical understanding. Students will learn about key animation concepts such as frame-by-frame animation, tweening, and interactive media, and will apply these concepts in practical projects. Final Projects or Artifacts: Each student will create a short animation using the skills and techniques learned throughout the course. This animation should tell a simple story or convey a message and must incorporate various animation techniques taught during the sessions.

This course introduces students to the world of programming and creative storytelling. Scratch JR is a beginner-friendly coding platform designed for young learners to create interactive stories and games. Through this course, students will explore the basics of coding, logical thinking, and problem-solving while having fun with animated characters and storytelling. The primary objectives of this course are to introduce students to coding concepts, boost their creativity, and nurture their digital literacy skills. Final Projects or Artifacts: Students will create an interactive story or game using Scratch JR. They will be tasked with coming up with a unique narrative or game idea and then implement it through coding and animation

VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT This course introduces students to the fundamentals of video game development, blending creativity, storytelling, and technical skills. Students will learn about game design concepts such as mechanics, level design, character creation, and user experience. Using beginner-friendly game engines like Scratch, Unity, or Godot, participants will gain hands-on experience in coding, asset creation, and game prototyping. The course emphasizes problem-solving, teamwork, and iterative design, guiding students through the process of turning their ideas into playable games. By the end, students will have a deeper understanding of the game development process and its creative potential. Final Projects or Artifacts: Students will create a functional video game prototype, complete with a unique concept, basic mechanics, and playable levels. The project will include a written game design document detailing the storyline, gameplay mechanics, and artistic vision. A recorded playthrough or demonstration of the game will showcase their skills and creativity as budding game developers.
