Volleyball Games Camp (Grades 4 - 6)
Sports Camps
Volleyball Games Camp by CHAMP Camps is a 3-session camp for girls and boys in grades 4-6 that will focus on playing the game of volleyball. Basic volleyball skills and rules will briefly be introduced and practiced, but the majority of the camp will be spent playing games of volleyball. The games will start on smaller courts and progress to a larger court. This is a non-contact camp, and all sessions will be indoors. Wear workout clothes and gym shoes.

Volleyball Skills Camp by CHAMP Camps is a 3-session camp for girls and boys designed to introduce, reinforce, and enhance age-appropriate volleyball skills. This is a non-contact camp, and all sessions will be indoors. Wear workout clothes and gym shoes. This camp is taught by Gary Chapp. Gary has taught elementary physical education in Utica Community Schools for 25 years and has coached 55+ different seasons in his 25 years as a coach in youth, junior high, and high school athletics. Skills and concepts being taught include: Overhand and Underhand Serve; Forearm Passing (Bumping); Overhead Passing (Setting); Basic Hitting (Spike); Blocking; & Basic Rules of the Game. Campers can also expect skill-based games or contests during the camp.

SACC is a multi-age program for students in Kindergarten through sixth grade. All UCS child care programs are licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. We offer: Before and After School Child Care Break Camps Summer Camp Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year - Please read all the information below before registering. Registration will open on Tuesday, July 16th at 7:00am. How to register for the SACC sites available for AM and PM Care. For AM Care (if available) you will select and register at your child's school. For PM Care, you will select and register for the location that your child will be attending SACC, which may not be their school location. For example: Graebner students needing PM care would register at Havel PM SACC. Non-Refundable Registration Fee $60 per child / $75 per family Absences will be charged at the regular rate for sessions a child is scheduled to attend. Student’s schedule for the entire school year is required during registration. Once the schedule is submitted and approved, the account owner is accepting responsibility for payment of scheduled days. Schedule change requests will only be accepted during designated weeks. Tuition payments are billed and charged the Friday prior to care. Adult Enrichment
This class will explore the advantages of proper estate planning and nursing home protection. Many legal documents are reviewed – Last Will & Testament, Living Trust, Power of Attorney and Patient Advocate. This class is excellent for anyone who is concerned about protecting assets from taxes, spend downs and probate. This class includes owners and beneficiaries of an estate. Spouse attends for free.

Yoga for Kids
After School Enrichment
Yoga is the perfect, non-competitive sport that can help children regulate their emotions, reduce impulsivity, and boost both concentration and self-esteem. This 60 minute class is best suited for 3-9 year olds. Each week students will act out a story using yoga poses, play yoga games, and participate in mindfulness activities and projects all connected to a fun theme. Students should dress in comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Yoga mats and other supplies will be provided.

REFUND POLICY: Please contact the Community Education office regarding all class concerns or refund requests. A full refund is guaranteed only if UCS cancels a class. Unless otherwise indicated, refunds will be the amount of tuition minus a $5.00 processing fee. Refunds will be granted only if cancellations are requested seven days prior to the exact start date of class, minus the $5.00 processing fee. If a refund is requested less than seven days prior to the exact start date of the class, you will receive a credit voucher to your account minus the $5.00 processing fee that will need to be used for another class offered by Community Education by June 30th of the current year. Supplies, trophies, T- shirts, etc. will not be refunded. If a class is cancelled, a full refund will be issued back to the original form of payment. No refunds will be paid in cash. No refunds will be given once classes/camps begin. Classes/camps will not be pro-rated if participant is unable to attend class for any circumstance. There are no refunds or make up dates for cancelled sessions due to inclement weather or building closures. All returned checks are subject to a $25 processing fee. NOTIFICATION OF CLASSES: In the event of cancellation or change to the class/camp you or your child are enrolled in you will be notified by an email, phone, or text using the email and phone number listed in your Eleyo account. Please check the location and date of your selected class prior to the start date. If the school is closed for any reason, classes will not be held. There will be no make-up dates or refunds for classes cancelled due to inclement weather or building closure. There will be no make-up classes or refunds for classes if participants are unable to attend.

This eight week introductory class is a great way for children to discover what it is like to play piano. Students will benefit by using our "Piano Lab System", which will help them to focus on learning the basics of playing the piano in a fun group setting. Rental instruments are available for all classes. $10.00 plus tax book fee due at the first session, payment will be taken at the studio.

Experience the fun of musical activities for the Beginning Violin Student. Incorporates the use of note-reading, rhythm, music symbols, and ideas from Suzuki violin in a fun atmosphere. Violin rentals are available. $12.99 plus tax book fee due at first session, payment will be taken at studio.

iCode Tech Club: 2D Game Builder

Students plan, design, and create their own 2D games using Construct 3. Students learn to create sprites, build levels, and add basic code to make their creations come to life. This class is perfect for new students and students that have done iCode Gaming Tech Clubs previously!

iCode Tech Club: Digital Art & Animation
After School Enrichment
Students plan, design, and create their own animation using Medibang & Opentoons. Students learn to create objects, use layering, set frames and drawing tablets to create their own unique animations. This class is perfect for new students and students that have done iCode Tech Clubs as well as those who have an interest in drawn art, animation and digital creation!

iCode Tech Club: Minecraft 3D Modeling & Animation

Students plan, design, and create their own Minecraft Skins, Animations, Characters, And Mobs using a variety of Minecraft Modeling Tools. Students create animations that they can use in their own Minecraft save files. This class is perfect for new students as well as those who have done iCode Tech Clubs before. It is especially great for those who wish to create their own mobs, items and characters within the world of Minecraft!

Students learn to create textures, modify game values, create new materials, and augment the Minecraft experience by creating their very own Minecraft Mod. iCode Tech Club: Roblox Build your World

Students plan, design, and create their own Roblox Mini-Game using Roblox Studio. Students learn to create assets, import files, program hazards in Lua, and create vibrant landscapes in which to create their Roblox Game. This class is perfect for new students and students that have done iCode Tech Clubs especially for those who have an interest in Roblox, 3D Game Design and Level Creation!

Students learn HTML, CSS and Web Development strategies in order to plan, design and build their very own websites. The students learn the various different tags, styles, and commands to build websites with images, color, videos and more. This class is perfect for students who have always wanted to build their own website and is helpful to beginners and experienced!
