How do I register? Go to Home - UCS Community Education (eleyo.com)to register online. Online registration will open on Monday, April 28, 2025, and will close on Friday, June 20, 2025. When does the summer session begin? The online course will be available on Monday, June 23, 2025, and will end on Friday, August 1, 2025. No online support sessions will be available on Thursday July 3, 2025, or Friday July 4, 2025. How will my child receive the information to begin the online course? Parents will receive their child’s login information via email, from their summer school mentor teacher on June 23, 2025. This email will also include a TEAMS meeting link for your child to be able to contact their mentor teacher throughout the summer schedule between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. How often should my child work on this course? The recommendation is at least 1 - 2 hours each day. This is a 20-day self-paced, computer-based course. While a mentor teacher is available for assistance, direct instruction is not available. This requires students to be on task and self-motivated. Is there a cost for this program? No, this program is supported by grant funds for the summer of 2025. Will my child need their school computer? Your child will need access to a computer, preferably their UCS issued student device. If your child does not have their UCS student device due to end-of-the year turn-in, information regarding device pick-up will be provided in a follow-up email in late May 2025.
