Chieftain Elite Strength & Conditioning CampSports CampsA safe, varied, unique, and up to date strength and conditioning program spanning the entire summer off-season. The program will be catered to all levels. Current coaches along with collegiate athletes will be directing an hour and a half of intense, creative, workouts designed to give athletes an up-tempo experience. Different and varied equipment is used to expose the athlete to all aspects of strength and conditioning. All high school sports will be supported throughout the summer. PopularEisenhower Boys Basketball All Star Camp (Gr. 4 - 9)Sports CampsStudents entering grades 4 - 9 in the fall. Our camp stresses instruction in the fundamental aspects of the game, along with practical game situations and competitions. We motivate each camper to set high goals and learn realistic ways to approach these goals. Basketball, like other sports, has become more competitive than ever. To succeed in junior high school, senior high school or college…you must know the game. Our camp will give you an opportunity to learn the skills that make you a better athlete from the best coaches in the business. Learn the fundamentals of the lay-up, jump shots, dribbling, foul shooting, passing, rebounding, screening, individual and team defense, and fast break situations. Players will be taught groundstrokes (stationary and moving), volleys, serving, how to keep score, court positioning for singles and doubles, and tennis etiquette. Eisenhower Tennis Eagles Junior CampSports CampsTWO-HOUR BLOCK FOR BOYS & GIRLS WITH HIGH SCHOOL TEAM EXPERIENCE This class offers the highest level of instruction and gives students the opportunity to progress in tennis at a much faster rate than in the regular season. All aspects of the game are covered, including stroke production, singles and doubles strategy, conditioning, and sportsmanship. Classes will include approximately 40 minutes of advanced stroke development through fed-ball drills, 40 minutes of competitive live-ball drills, and 40 minutes of singles & doubles match play. All attempts will be made to pair students by ability level for match play. Ford II Volleyball Competition CampSports CampsEach day of camp will begin with 90 minutes of ball handling, serving, and hitting drills. Followed by 3hrs of team competition games. Teams will be randomly selected and changed periodically during each day. Points will be recorded for each camper throughout the week. The camper with the most points at the end of the week will be the Queen of the court. There will be a 30 minute break. Please bring plenty to drink and something to eat.
