CERTIFIED BABYSITTER / FIRST AID AND SAFE HOME ALONE Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. One-day class. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. No refunds or credit with less than 24-hour notice. If you need a medical exception, email Live Safe Academy at info@LiveSafeAcademy.com before class. Bring a snack, pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during breaks. Please note that students must arrive on time to be certified, so please arrive up to 10 minutes early. CRAFTING CLUB WITH MRS. RIVERA SESSION 01 Join Mrs. Rivera for three weeks of hands-on crafting fun where creativity, laughter, and imagination come together! Students will make and take home three special keepsake projects, including a colorful canvas masterpiece, a cuddly stuffed Easter friend, and a “lucky” shamrock token to treasure. Each class is filled with excitement, creativity, and pride as students create beautiful crafts they’ll be proud to display! SESSION 02 Get ready for three weeks of hands-on creativity with Mrs. Rivera as students sculpt their own fun animal, design a mini journal perfect for notes, drawings, or stickers, and explore a variety of creative choices! Each child will also have the chance to choose from additional craft projects such as a bracelet, necklace, or decorative picture frame. Each week, kids explore the bold styles of legendary artists - from expressive self-portraits to vibrant street art, peaceful Picasso-inspired paintings, and playful collages - while using Crayola® supplies to bring their own ideas to life. Through hands-on projects in painting, collage, and mixed media, they’ll experiment with techniques that shaped the art world, build confidence, and develop a style all their own. FLOWER POWER In this class, students will use their creativity to paint and decorate their own flowerpots using paint and imagination. Then, they will choose a plant to put inside to give as a gift or keep for themselves. CELEBRATE & CREATE: CINCO DE MAYO CRAFTS AND CULTURE Join Mrs. Rivera for a colorful and creative after-school adventure as we learn about the rich traditions of Mexico and the meaning behind Cinco de Mayo. Students will explore elements of Mexican culture and create two festive art projects inspired by traditional folk art.
