This camp utilizes over $70,000 in all new weight room equipment from Rogue Fitness & Rogers Athletic, along with a newly renovated Indoor Athletic Training Center. The sessions are directed by Matthew Browe and Christina Johnson, Head and Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coaches at Henry Ford II High School. This camp will focus on foundational strength training, fundamental movements, proper warm up and mobility that will lead athletes to achieve success throughout their High School careers.

Choose electric or acoustic guitar and have fun learning the basics. You might be the next Guitar Hero! Class covers the fundamentals of chords and melody. Guitar rentals are available for the eight week class or you can bring your own. $14.99 plus tax book fee is due at first session, payment will be made at the studio.

Have you dreamed of playing the piano, but didn't believe that you could? Fulfill your life-long musical dreams with Recreational Music Making in our "stress-free" piano lab. Play the piano on your first lesson. You can do this! $24.95 plus tax book fee due the first class, payment will be taken at the Studio.

Enjoy a competitive weekly basketball outing promoting good sportsmanship and healthy competition amongst friends. Scorekeepers and officials are the players themselves. The league is friendly environment of all skill sets.

Learning Spanish is as easy as uno, dos, tres! Current research has found a positive link between learning a second language and cognitive and academic ability. In addition to developing a lifelong skill to communicate with people from other countries and backgrounds, other benefits include improved overall school performance and higher problem-solving skills. In Afterschool Amigos Spanish club, children will learn numbers, colors, shapes, greetings, days of the week and more. We will be singing, clapping, and counting our way towards learning the Spanish language. No previous knowledge of Spanish is necessary.

Course Description Time BODYPUMP! This is a weights class for absolutely everyone. This form of weight training will make you toned, lean and fit. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps) BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns lots of calories. It’ll also tones and shape your body, without adding bulky muscles. The encouragement, motivation and great music you get in a BODYPUMP! class will help you achieve much more than you would be able to on your own. Instructors will show you all the moves and techniques to make your first class safe and fun. TRX Cardio Circuit Training is a total body workout designed to keep you on your toes. We want to keep you guessing – each class is designed to be different including the use of the TRX Suspension System, dumbbells and body weight exercises to develop balance, flexibility and core strength. Saturday 9:00-9:45am Kevin Fitness Fusion This 45-minute circuit training class will help BURN fat and increase cardiovascular endurance, tone and strengthen muscles. Core exercise and stretching will make this a FULL BODY workout for ALL levels of fitness. FORMAT: 3 minutes of resistance training followed by 2 minutes of cardio, followed by 1 minute of core…and REPEAT! End with Cool down and stretching. Mon/Wed 6:00-6:45pm John Cardio Circuit This 45- minute CARDIO Circuit uses stations around the room with a variety of equipment, i.e. BOSU, TRX, Resistance Balls, and more to give you a TOTAL BODY workout with the combination of cardio and muscle endurance. This FUN workout is for ALL fitness levels Tues/Thurs 5:10-5:55pm Nicole Core + Stretch This class is designed to lengthen your muscles and tighten up your abdominals, tone and flatten your stomach, help improve movement/range of motion and flexibility and relieve stress. This class is low impact and suitable for all fitness levels. Saturday 8:00-8:45am Nicole Classes Begin September 16,2024 and will run until December 16th, 2024.
