Location: Duncan Teacher: K. O'Keefe CLASS DESCRIPTION COST AGE GROUP LOCATION DATE TIME S.T.E.A.M. Young children are curious about the world around them and how it works. This camp will allow them to explore areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. We will incorporate a STEAM driven content through experiments building with blocks and boxes, using simple machines, and creating art. This week your child will go back in time and visit the Land of Dinosaurs. We will "hatch" a dinosaur egg, measure the size of dinosaurs, go on a Dino Dig, and much more! $124 4 - 6 yrs. This week at CAMP DUNCAN we will participate in camp themed activities, art, and exploration as we "sing around the campfire". Your child will get back to nature and explore the great outdoors with binoculars and other camping tools. We will read stories in a tent, have a hot dog campout, and make our own S'mores! $124 4 - 6 yrs. Duncan Mon.-Thurs. 7/7-7/10 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM Legos and Littles Building and creating with Legos is not only fun, it is a great way for your child to learn about technology, engineering, and math. Your child will have the opportunity to grow socially, work with others, and create, all while having fun. This hands-on camp is sure to be a huge hit! $124 4 - 6 yrs. Duncan Mon.-Thurs. 7/7-7/10 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM Move Over Cinderella There's a new Princess in town, and that new princess is your child! This week we will pamper your little princess with projects, music, crafts, and cooking. Your child will feel like a princess while having fun and learning with hands-on activities. Our "tea party" and "spa day" are just a few of the fun-filled ways your child will spend their morning with us. $124 4 - 6 yrs. Duncan Mon.-Thurs. 7/14-7/17 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM Superheroes Camp It's a bird, it's a plane, NO it's your child learning while having fun! Learning CAN be fun when you become your own favorite superhero. This week we will learn more about letters, numbers, literacy, and science with this fun superhero theme. We will even have the opportunity to make and eat some superhero food. This class is offered only in the afternoon and sure to fill up fast! $124 4 - 6 yrs. Duncan Mon.-Thurs. 7/14-7/17 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM Out of This World 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 ,3 ,2 ,1......blast off into a week full of fun in space! We will discuss and learn about planets and stars with hands-on activities. The children will explore what it is like to be an astronaut and even try space food! We will participate in outer space activities while practicing some "school skills": our names, A, B, C's, and more. $124 4 - 6 yrs. Your child will learn about the mysterious world and amazing creatures with hands-on activities through art, science, music, and math. $124 4 - 6 yrs. We will explore math and literacy through a variety of hands-on activities in art, music, movement, and science. Fine motor and gross motor skills will surely be a hit this week! What a great way to keep your child "on track" during the summer months. $124 4 - 6 yrs. If so, then come join us for Little Chefs camp this week. We will practice measuring, mixing, pouring, and "cooking" while we explore different foods and highlight the importance of nutrition. A new food activity will be introduced each day. This camp is ALWAYS the first to fill up, so we will offer it in the AM and PM. $124 4 - 6 yrs.
