Utica Community Schools is pleased to offer a hybrid summer opportunity. Students in grades 9-11 will use a nationally accredited online learning system in order to restore credit towards their high school graduation requirements.

Students currently in grades 9 – 11 who would benefit from an online session to restore credits toward high school graduation requirements.

Online registration will open on Monday, April 28, 2025, and will close on Friday, June 20, 2025.
When does the summer session begin?
Classes begin Monday, June 23, 2025, and end Friday, August 1, 2025.
No session on Thursday July 3, 2025, or Friday July 4, 2025.

Will transportation be provided?
Yes, information will be provided in an email prior to the start of the summer session.
What is the daily schedule for the summer session?
Can my child work on the course from home?
Yes, a student can work on the course from home. However, students will need to attend summer sessions to complete any tests or final exams associated with the course. All assessments must be completed in the presence of the UCS employee. Additionally, students must attend 1 full in-person orientation session with their mentor teacher to receive login information and program expectations. It is strongly encouraged for students to attend the first week of summer school sessions.
Is there a cost for this program?
No, this program is supported by grant funds for the summer of 2025.
Will my child need their school computer?
Your child will need access to a computer, preferably their UCS issued student device.
If your child does not have their UCS student device due to end-of-the year turn-in, information regarding device pick-up will be provided in a follow-up email in late May 2025.
