Soccer Skills Camp by CHAMP Camps is a 3-session camp for girls and boys designed to introduce, reinforce, and enhance age-appropriate soccer skills. This is a non-contact camp, and all sessions will be indoors.
This camp is taught by Gary Chapp. Gary has taught elementary physical education in Utica Community Schools for 25 years and has coached 55+ different seasons in his 25 years as a coach in youth, junior high, and high school athletics.
Skills and concepts being taught include: different ways to dribble; passing; different ways to trap/control the ball; instep (shoelace) kick; inside of the foot kick; headers; basic goalie play & more. A skilled-based lead-up game will also be played.
Wear workout clothes and gym shoes.
