Summer 2024

What is Ed Ready Math?

Ed Ready Math is a program to help students master a range of mathematical concepts. The program will assess math skills, map strengths and weaknesses, provide personalized instruction and prepare students for grade-level expectations, as well as for their college and career aspirations.

Who would benefit from this program?

Students entering grades 6 – 12 in the fall of 2024 are looking for an online experience to prepare for the next level of mathematics.

How do I register?

  • After registration you will receive an email with further directions on how to register and sign-in to the course in the Ed Ready platform from

**Keys will be sent via email. It may take 24-48 hours after registration to receive key**

Which course should I register my child for?

We suggest registering your child for the next math class they are scheduled to take during the 24-25 school year. Students will take an assessment at the beginning of the course. Students will be assigned content, based on the results of the assessment. As the student progresses through the course, they may be assigned content as low as grade 4 up to and including the course in which they are registered. This will allow students to get exposure to the course content prior to the start of classes in the fall.

What time is the class?

This is a self-paced, self-directed course, that can be done at home anytime of the day.

How often should my child work on this course?

The recommendation is a least 1 hour each day.

Is there a cost for this program?

No, this program is supported by grant funds for the summer of 2024.

Will my child need their school computer?

Yes. Your student may use their school issued device or home device. Laptops will be required for most programs (Deployment Information Below).

  • Students with their current UCS laptop can use this for their summer school course.
  • Students that turned in a laptop as part of their elementary or junior high exit procedures, will need to have a new one redeployed. Information on this is listed below:

This score increases toward a target score of 100, indicating mastery has been demonstrated for all skills contained within the goal's scope of study.

Will support be available for my child?

Yes, an online mentor will be available throughout the course session. More information will be provided in the follow up email from Teaching and Learning.
